Celebration Serves Bagdad Elementary

The Cedar Park Campus is reaching out to our city. We've adopted the students, teachers & families connected to Bagdad Elementary with a vision to make a long-term impact in our local schools & community.  See how you can get involved in making a big difference.

80% of the students are either on free or reduced lunch. Which translates to many of these students and their families not having enough food to get them through the weekend. The school sends home about 25 backpacks home with students every Friday that is full of food for the weekend for them and their family. The students bring the backpacks to school on Monday and the process continues.

Many of the backpacks either don't make it back to school or are worn out and unable to hold food. We as a Church and Campus are going to change this. For the month of February we are asking you to get involved to help impact a family in need. Here is how.

  1. Get a backpack- either used or new - that has at least two zippers on the same opening.
  2. Pick up the food supply list at the Welcome Center this weekend.(Cedar Park Campus Only)
  3. Return it the following Sunday

Easy as that. We hope you partner with us this month and bless the school and families.
